We are seniors and like streaming movies and series after dinner. We wanted an experience in our living room that felt comparable to seeing these shows at a cinema. We got the visuals with this Samsung smart TV. The sound is a little disappointing so we are adding a sound bar with a sub woofer and blue tooth rear speakers. With that addition, this is everything we wanted.

We had recently purchased Echo from Amazon. Standing by itself, there are a lot of fun things you can do. We wanted to try something new and we decided to have her control a couple of lights. I know, pretty lazy, but it was fun. Now, when we say, "Alexa, turn on lamp one" the light comes on and she says "Okay". It's hilarious, I know, pitiful. Anyway, the directions with the Philips lamps were simple to follow and we were joy lighting and darkening within less than a half hour. By the way, this setup entertains our granddaughter who enjoys being bossy, ha-ha. It's what we wanted and we got it. Simple and straightforward. The lamps are LED based so we expect them to last for a very long time. I recommend the product wholeheartedly.

Which soundbar goes well with this TV?

We liked the Samsung and the Bose. After listening to both, we chose the Bose. I believe the model number is 300. We added the Sub Woofer and the blue tooth rear speakers and this combination puts us right inside the movie. The Bose is a lot more expensive so if it chokes your budget, you will also be happy with the Samsung.
