I bought it while staying at a friends house and she did not have a smart TV or Apple TV and this one was the right price for streaming HD (not 4k) from my AMAZON PRIME Account. It was easy to setup and works like it should.
BUT my friend has problems with it, she has to call me always and asking me how to get the TV channels back on.
What I found out is, that some people get confused by all the remote-controls, one for selecting the "SOURCE" on the TV, one for the "Fire Stick" and one for the "Tivo-Providers-Broadcasting-Service-Box." Well, when you program a multi-task master-remote-control for them, then you should see there faces when looking at the millions of buttons.
Just get a smart TV next time!

I needed to transfer a lot of files to my new IPAD PRO. The stick helped BUT only 3 stars, because there was a long lean-curve. First I had to install an APP on my IPAD PRO and then I had to figure out how to send the files from the stick to the right APP on my IPAD. .... After all the time put into it, I decided to go an other way and use DropBox for my file transfer.
I use it now to transfer pictures and videos to my friends and students computer, but at my home I use WiFi and cloud software for transferring files.
It works, but if you have a fast wireless system, don't bother with it. It's just a back-up-plan for me now.

I disabled screen time out and because of that it uses up the battery too fast. So now I use a 26000mAp power-pack to recharge it during my performances. That is a little bulky but better than having to deal with a black screen.. The power-pack is empty after 2x8hours IPOD use.

Well, 5-STARS plus!!! I have this now 2years on my phone and replaced it with a new one to have a cleaner screen protection. I am a 100% sure that my Samsung Galaxy would have been badly broken without this OtterBox protection.

I will keep it, because it improved my WIFI, but not as fast as a hoped. I am using it at a friends house who has only a 2.5 GHZ router. I also experienced a view drop-outs when streaming movies. This is my second SSD from SAMSUNG. I had first the 500GB version for my video files on my desktop (the OS was already on a SSD, but the data needs to be on a separate SSD to speed up reading), and now the "Samsung - 850 EVO 1TB Internal Sata III Solid State Drive - Black" version for my Laptops main hard-drive, OS.
If money is no problem, take the "pro" version of this hard-drive. Otherwise the "850 EVO" last long enough until you have to upgrade your whole computer (every 5 years!!!). (5 computer years is like 72 human years!)
There are 4 important ways to speed-up your computer:
1. Upgrade the ram to the maximum (I did)
2. Upgrade the Video card (I did Nvidia 1080)
3. Upgrade to SSD (now I did for my Laptop)
4. Separate the OS system from the data storage (Have 2 SSD's, one for data, and one for the OS).
BUT to make it clear, the biggest impact is the SSD upgrade for the OS.
OS = Operating System (like Windows 10, or ... )
Hope that helps you ...

Difference between ssd and ssd pro
SSD pro has a longer warranty, so should last longer.
Since I would replace/upgrade my computer every 5 years, I would put the OS (Operating system on a regular SSD and the data on a SSD PRO. When upgrading to a new computer, you can remove the old data SSD and place it in the new desktop or in an external drive compartment. In this way you save yourself time to transfer the data. Samsung lets you choose in the SSD setup between "Performance" and "Data-security."
So, choose "High performance" for the Operating System (like Windows 10) and "Data-security" for the DATA-Drive.
Since I would replace/upgrade my computer every 5 years, I would put the OS (Operating system on a regular SSD and the data on a SSD PRO. When upgrading to a new computer, you can remove the old data SSD and place it in the new desktop or in an external drive compartment. In this way you save yourself time to transfer the data. I recommend the "Samsung - 850 EVO 500GB Internal Sata III Solid State Drive" for any computers OS, no matter Laptop or desktop. 250GB is sometimes to small.
If money is no problem, take the "pro" version of this hard-drive. Otherwise the "850 EVO" last long enough until you have to upgrade your whole computer ( buy a new one every 5 years!!!). (5 computer years is like 72 human years!).
