I ordered this based on the photo alone so was worried I might not like it but it is sturdy, a good height on its own but also has some little risers that it comes with to make it a little higher. I use it all the time and am happy with the height and stability of it.

I have never purchased a laptop previously and so my review might not be as detailed as some - but I really like this laptop. Great, bright screen, long battery life, nice keyboard with responsive keys. Only two small criticisms - ONE) needs more then two USB ports - there should be three and TWO) the "shift" key on the right side is too small and I keep hitting the "page up" key so I end up on the line above sometimes... that's frustrating but other then those things - terrific laptop
