what kind of power cord is it?
It looks like an old cell phone charger. Plugs into the wall and has a small rectangular connector that goes into the monitor. It is NOT a standard USB charging cable though. It's probably made just for this brand.

I've tried to plug in both the vga and the HDMI cords and both connect, but I can't figure out how to take the monitor out of power saving mode. So there is nothing on the screen. How do I turn off power saving mode? The menu doesn't come up either...
