Will this new version of Roku or any of the older versions work with a DSL connection? I don't have high speed internet. I'm really interested in this product but im unsure if it will work without a high speed internet connection.
A DSL connection still uses a router in order to assign IP addresses to all ethernet devices. A DSL connection is slow and you may experience really slow load
times. You should do a speed test on your computer of your DSL connection: speedtest.com

If I choose to use the Ethernet cable to go hard wired, does the device still need to be plugged into the HDMI port?
The ethernet cable is the internet connection, only. The HDMI connection is for video and audio, only. You can buy a Roku without the ethernet connection (LAN) for wireless use only but you need the HDMI port or you won't see or hear anything.

Will the Roku premier plus work with a Sony Bravia XBR TV?
Why would you ask? Any Sony XBR Bravia will have an HDMI input. The Roku Premier + has accommodations for 1080P and 720P. So I don't see
what is the problem. This Roku Premier +is connected to a ten year old Samsung and has no problems. Now, one thing you should be aware of and that is if you are using
this Roku product in two zones, the audio will not work in the second zone without an audio extractor.
