I bought this for my daughter's birthday since she had received her own Wii game for Christmas. Her favorite color is purple, so I thought this would be great. I was fooled. We've had this just over a week and when you point the remote at the Wii, it jumps all over and you can't click on anything. I thought it was just her being young, but I tried and also couldn't get it to be steady enough to select the game from the Wii menu. I bought the matching nun-chuk and the Wii doesn't always recognize that it's plugged into the remote, even after jiggling/unplugging and reconnecting. I'm really disappointed. I guess we'll have to get a real Nintendo remote for her. Don't be fooled by the pretty eye-candy.
What's great about it: It's purple
What's not so great: can't point steadily at the wii bar
