I have shopped at Best Buy for years and usually very happy with my purchases so this problem is with the product, not the store.
I wanted the Deluxe model because of the better tonearm and speed adjustment.
The first one I got had fingerprints on it inside. The speed would not stay steady and you could easily hear the tone go up and down.
The second one had a turntable that was definitely wobbly instead of flat when it turned. The speed, again, would not stay steady. It didn't matter because the amp didn't work anyway, it was silent.
The customer service people were very good and I was told others were not happy either. Too bad, I was looking forward to spinning a few used discs.
