The HOBBIT movies aren't enormously favored, due to their bloated runtime and unnecessary material, but there's no denying New Line and Peter Jackson's penchant for excess isn't a good thing when it concerns their Blu-Ray work. With an extensive amount of bonus material, three discs worth (a so-so commentary on Disc 1 with information that ultimately can be gleamed from featurettes; set-specific behind the scenes videos clocking in at 4 hrs on Disc 2; and subject-specific videos on Disc 3), there's quite the wealth of making of material. Overall, the bonus features and movies may not be as fun and intricate as the LOTR trilogy, but for interested parties and fans of THE HOBBIT, this is a no brainer in Blu-Ray excellence.
This three pack for fans of the Mothra kaiju film series offers a triple feature of Rebirth of Mothra, Rebirth of Mothra II, and Rebirth of Mothra III.
Sony's TOHO GODZILLA COLLECTION Blu-Ray sets come to an end with this REBIRTH OF MOTHRA trilogy, notable for being the first time REBIRTH OF MOTHRA III has hit home video. Overall, it's a solid product. Video presentation is highly grainy but the details and colors are rich and vibrant enough to make the grain sorta work for it. There's Japanese and English audio, with English subtitles that may or may not be the dreaded 'dubtitles'. I say this in that 90% of the subtitles is a direct transcription of the dub, but occasionally, there's a notable difference.
Trailers accompany the features as the only bonus features, with still photography menus. The films themselves are mediocre fun, with the real prize being the time-traveling escapades of Mothra against Ghidorah in the third and final installment. Well for a look for Zilla and kaiju fans.
The comedy series' third season is all about the chemistry between Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) and their dynamic with the rest of the gang as the two of them go from being "just friends" to "boyfriend and girlfriend." On the heels of Season 2's big romantic finale, the newly minted lovebirds escape to Mexico on a whim, unsure of how to proceed in these unfamiliar roles. Upon their return, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) has trouble adjusting to the new relationship, and so he spends a great deal of time actively trying to break them up. In other events, the loft gains two new members: Original loftmate Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) returns; and Winston (Lamorne Morris) adopts a cat.
NEW GIRL's third season is its weakest outing, with odd character choices and cartoonish plot points, but for a cheap price and fine enough bonus features - although it'd be nice if the FOX team gave ample bonus content to both NEW GIRL and MINDY PROJECT - it's difficult to decline.

What's great about it: All 23-episodes in a reasonably priced season set make this a easy recommendation, and series fans will definitely want!
What's not so great: The season itself is the weakest, and special features are sparse-ish.
