With the black phone, the red case looks pretty good. It's a very thin case, so that's a good thing for putting it in a pocket. But it also doesn't seem as sturdy of protection as other cases.

Surprisingly easy to put on

Only negative on this is that I had the previous version of this screen protector, and had to get it replaced because one layer started splitting off from the base sticky layer. Only happened around the home button, and Zagg replaced it. Took about 15-16 months before it started splitting.
Other than that, I'm very happy with how it's performed, as it's taken a bit of abuse (keys in pocket, kids, light impacts, etc...).

What's great about it: Ease of installation, doesn't impair screen visibility
What's not so great: Took a day for all air bubbles to disappear; previous version of screen protector started splitting between layers

The effects, including the 3D effects, were pretty cool, really felt the sense of depth and motion. But in terms of story, it's less great -- not bad, but not great. For us, it was worth the discounted/sale price.

Interesting, but...

Part of the problem is that, having seen Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck play Jack Ryan in previous movies (and having read the books), it's difficult for a new actor to put his stamp on the character. Should he (Chris Pine) act like he imagines a young Harrison Ford might play Ryan? Or would that be like playing Han Solo as Jack Ryan?
Plus, to make it more relevant to today's audiences, the story has to be transplanted in time to the present day. The story is pretty good, and keeps some of the Ryan back story (Marine, injured in a helicopter crash, makes a pile of money on Wall Street, etc...), and puts a contemporary polish on it. So, overall, worth seeing on its own merits, but also if only to compare to previous Ryan stories.

Does this play music from your phone also or does it only work with what is saved on the headphone storage?
Yes, it plays from the phone, as well as from the on-board memory if you upload songs to it. I normally play from the phone, as well as watch movies, and they work great, other than the battery life (around 2 hours, sometimes less). But if you're frequently interrupted, or only using them in spurts (or have shorter workouts), then they're great, as you put them back in the case to recharge.

how long is the battery life..8hrs or more ?
From the time you stick them in your ears, and play until they run out, it's about 2 hours, more or less (less if at higher volumes). The case they come with also recharges them, but I haven't tried draining them, recharging in the case, then draining again, etc... until both the case and buds are dead. I'd estimate, though, that it's probably around 4-6 hours tops (two to three charge cycles without connecting the case to micro-USB to recharge the whole thing).
