One of the best of all time

I can only echo what those who have a better way with words than I do: This is as superb an album, lo these nearly 40 years later, as it was when it was first released. The passage of time acts as a validation of the time and effort that went into its creation. If one is to own only a single "non best of" album of the Eagles, this is the one to possess and enjoy.

Multi layered thoughtful mystery

This is a production that will stay with you, long after you've seen it. More than a mystery, it is also a morality tale. In addition to a well crafted performance by Mr. DeNiro, both Mickey Rourke and Lisa Bonet are at their respective bests. This is a keeper.
