Put this in the guest bedroom and provides great sound for the size of that room. Only downside is the TV in that room doesn't have an optical output, but that's not the SoundPlate's fault.

Good mid-level Router

Needed to replace my parent's old Linksys AGN router. They have a long narrow one story house. With the old router it needed to be placed in one of the middle rooms for the signal to reach the other ends. The new router was able to be placed in the living room, which is toward one end of the house and the signal still easily reached the bedrooms on the other end of the house. The signal even reaches out to the detached garage now.
