Poor quality and does not work as advertised.

I have multiple issues with this product:
1. The speaker mounts are advertised to hold speakers up to 8 pounds. The speaker mounts are bending under the weight of my speakers that are about 6 pounds. The weight of my speakers was verified with the manufacturer and double checked on a postal scale.
2. Two of the Five mounts had the threads strip when I was using my fingers and the supplied wrench to tighten the mounting screws. This is due to the low quality plastic used in the mounts.
3. Most of the parts are of a poor quality plastic. I highly doubt that they could safely hold an 8 pound speaker if the mounts are bending under the weight of a 6 pound speaker.
4. Considering the cheap plastic used in this kit, the kit should be $30, not $50. The materials are of similar quality to the cheap speaker mount kits that sell for about $30 on other web sites.
5. After getting the first 2 speakers mounted, I had trouble aiming them where I wanted them to be pointed due to the speaker mounts flexing.
6. I'm considering returning this product. However, I now have the mounting holes drilled into my wall and will need to find other speaker mounts that will cover the holes.
Unless you have very small and light speakers, I wouldn't recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
