I always like Bose. This meets all my expectations when it comes to a portable speaker. Easy set up, it can be connected to 2 devices at once so switching is a breeze. Music sounds good on low and high volume, light enough to move it wherever I want to and it is water proof. The couple things that I wish will be different is the voice prompt, it is too robotic and annoying but it can turn off anyway. Second is the color, the red color is more of orange.

I originally have an ISP5 which is the older version of this smart plug. So I decided to get more. Set up is easy especially when you already have the iHome app up and running. The apple home kit automatically detects the devices and now Siri can control all the lights connnected into every iHome smart plug in the house. iHome also releases firmware updates faster than TP Link. Base on my experience apple home kit works better than the amazon echo dot for smart for a smart home control.

Alexa got fired after 2 months! It is a nice concept but the usefullness of this device is low. So far I have used it only for my smart plugs and the weather forecast, which my iPhone can do. This device needs outlook or google calendar to be able to tell what's the schedule for the day, no access to apple calendar. To sum it all why add another device when our phones can do it all. Sorry Alexa, Siri won my household!

*finally clear cases for iPhone are starting to become more common to show their real color. But this is clear with matte finish so it just kind of show the color, I wish it is a true clear case.

I am looking at the oasis and voyage but thinking they will be expensive paper weight in 3-4 years because that is the average life of kindle, this is my #4; they get slow, froze and die after 3-4 years. Moving from first gen paperwhite to the newest version, here are the noticeable changes:
1. speed- this version is snappy, the new UI takes a little time to get used to.
2. the LED lighting is even, no more ghost at the bottom of the page.
3. cloud storage, book can be opened from the cloud and just start reading.

Just like any other kindle, set up is easy, downloading over 100 titles of book to the device is fast. I do average 12-20 books a year, with the kindle of course, no worries on where to store them. Although the form factor of the oasis and voyage is very tempting but that additional price can buy lots of books!
One complaint that I have is the USB cable is too short!

I bought these to replace a couple of hard drives that still run on USB 2.0. The drive is small for easy portability. Transfer rate using the included USB 3.0 cable is fast, depending on the size to be backup but comparing it to the 2.0, the job was done in half the time. I intend to use this till the next technology of USB or whatever will be next come along.

I signed up for Comcast internet, I was disappointed when I pick up the rental modem. It looks old, outdated and clunky. I just could not believe that I will be paying $10/month for an old equipment. I decided to to stop at BestBuy to see the possible options. I zeroed in between the Xfinity Arris modem and this one. The associate informed me that this modem will perform better since it has the newer wifi technology. The set up with Comcast went without a hiccup. I encountered connectivity issues with my printer, the iMac defaulting to the 5Ghz while the printer is only 2.4Ghz capable which was nothing new to me. It was a simple fix, I turn off the 5Ghz and just settled with the 2.4Ghz. So far I have not noticed any issues with the internet speed. I hope this modem will last me long enough to pay off the monthly rental fees.

This is a very nice upgrade from iPad 4. It is fast! The true tone is a welcome feature, the 4 stereo speakers are awesome! Being an iPad user since the very first generation, I can say that it has really come a long way. But this is not quite a laptop replacement but will be able to handle simple tasks away from my iMac. Although I ditched my second generation Macbook Air for this model for the reason that iPad is more suited for quick web browsing and checking emails and the weight makes a lot of difference when travelling.

After 6 years of using a 2008 unibody Macbook, I finally decided to upgrade. Since this will not be the only Mac in the house, the bigger screen of the iMac will be perfect for my photo projects. I am not new to the apple eco system. The migration assistant took care of transferring data from Mac to Mac, may take few hours depending on the size but when everything was done and over with, all my data and applications were ready to go in the iMac. The quality of the product and ease of use keep me coming back to apple products.

Macbook air will be a good choice. Apple offers discount to students. I personally own a Macbook air and a Macbook Pro with Microsoft office installed in both and they work perfect for me. Macbook air with the SSD is great but storage is smaller compared to the Macbook Pro with hard drive. The 13 screen size is more easy on the eyes. I have been a macbook user since 2009 and my 4 year old laptop still works fast. Before that, I have been using windows and needed to upgrade every two years because the computer speed slows down as software gets more updates. In the end it will be what your preference is. Business and organization the macbook is a good choice, macbooks are ultra portable. I am both a pc and macbook user and my opinion is pc is more compatible for gaming, there are more softwares and gaming accesories available, and unless you buy an external monitor for your macbook, gaming is not really that much fun on a small screen. And if you don't mind doing your spreadsheets and other documents on a 13 inch screen you can never go wrong with a macbook but if screen size will be an issue you have to get the macbook pro or get an imac or just get a pc.
