Couldn't get it to work

I have a WD my book live (older version) and it has been working well. I thought I'll give the new My cloud (newer NAS from WD) since it has a faster processor and reliable WD hard drive for NAS boxes. After multiple attempts at trying to get it connected to my network and spending hours with the CSR I gave up and had to return it. Hope WD works out the chinks since it seems like a promising product.
On a side note, if anyone buys it and gets it to work please be sure to back up the data on the My cloud since the forums are filled with people who lost everything ones the firmware was updated. Also be sure to disable auto updates on the My cloud for the same reason.
