This replaced an older Sub-woofer that died. We use it in modest sized room the and does the job, although we don't play at high volume levels. Found this one as an open box and very pleased with price, and sound.
I do recommend reading the instructions when setting it up, they explain the appropriate settings.

Great laptop briefcase for traveling light

The bag has a large padded compartment wide and deep enough for my new wide screen lap top. The front compartment has sections suitable for a tablet and a smart phone, however it is small and is quite stuffed when carrying the large AC charger/adapter that is required for my laptop, not to mention a smartphone and tablet charger. This works for everyday, but when using this along with a carry on for air travel a large bag is needed.

Living in upstate NY I need a radio that can pick up weak FM stations clearly, this is the best I have had on this point. It also has very good iPod and iPhone connectivity.
Could use bigger buttons for station presets, hard to select with gloves on.
