If you enjoyed the early Bond movies then you should enjoy this one. It has great throwbacks to earlier Bond movies and also to the earlier Daniel Craig as Bond movies.
A lot of people have ripped this movie, but it is better than advertised. Yes, it is Moore's last Bond flick, and yes he has gotten a bit too old, but the plot is fun, and the action is reminiscent of "You Only Live Twice," particularly in the way the villain has what appears to be an impenetrable lair. You will enjoy this movie if you are a Bond fan.
Best Buy is showing a picture of Roger Moore, but the movie review is for Thunderball, which starred Sean Connery. Assuming that Thunderball is the correct movie under review, this is a good one to see. Excellent under-water sequences and a fun plot.
This was the only movie starring Sean Connery as Bond that I did not think was great. Like a lot of sequels, it is a bit of a let-down from Dr. No. However, it is an important movie in the genre and cannot be missed. There are some gems in this movie, particularly the hench-woman and her deadly shoes.
This was Lazenby's only role as James Bond. It is unique in that it is the only movie in which Bond gets married. While Lazenby is somewhat forgettable as a Bond, he did have to follow in big shoes -- shoes which he could not fill. I do like Telly Savalas as Blofeld, and he does end up getting the last laugh here.
Unlike a lot of people, I like Roger Moore's James Bond. However, this particular movie is not one of his best efforts, nor is the storyline that great. But, if you like Bond movies, you'll enjoy at least part of it.
This superhero drama follows Central City forensic scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), who is given the power to move at lightning-quick speeds after a freak accident at a particle accelerator facility. As a man who has always had a propensity for helping others and doing good deeds, Allen uses his newfound gifts to fight crime and evildoers.
The Flash is the best of the current CW network's superhero shows. But, be sure to watch Seasons 1 & 2 of Arrow first, in order to get the full background on some characters who appear in The Flash.
