i have to say, i had my doubts about this cd. I mean, come on, who covers Zeppelin??? that being said, I was absolutely 100% blown away. fantastic job by these guys
i was eagerly anticipating this CD from Heart, but when i heard it , i just bowed my head. Very disappointed. The title song was ok, and they reworked my all time favorite song "City's Burning" but it was meh, As for the rest of the songs, i only knew of Johnny Moon..had to actually see what album the other songs were on. Only die hard fans may want this
the new cd (although culled from shelved items 25 yrs ago, could easily fit right in with the first 2 releases. Zany at times, but still a fun cd. onto Remastered Passion & Warfare..sounds even better than it did 25 yrs ago. .
First off, the original Whitford St. Holmes cd was always amazing. now thats it's remastered, ..to hear Whiskey woman on full volume..wow!!!. as for the reunion cd, it's like they never missed a berat. only 37 minutes, but it is just amazing from start to finish.
Being a fan of The Who for over 40 yrs, i was not sure how Daltrey would sound. But, as usual, he put my mind to rest quickly, STRONG vocals, and Pete, what can you say, as sharp as ever. just amazing. highly recommend this
Peter never ceases to amaze me. every time. every time he does something, its amazing. this acoustic cd is no different. just him and a guitar. perfect.
