I bought this washer to replace my really old Maytag Neptune frontload washer. I like Maytag's durability and consistent quality. My Neptune lasted 18 years! I believe that's mostly because I'm single so don't do as much laundry as a family. However I do feel it speaks to the quality of the brand. This washer has a large capacity so I find myself doing laundry less often. The steam option is nice for the stains that just don't want to otherwise come out.

The delivery guys called when they were a few blocks away from my house so I had my car pulled out of the garage by the time they got here. They unwrapped the new washer by their truck and brought it into my garage. One guy unhooked the old washer and the other guy hauled it back to the truck. The first guy hooked up my new washer and ran a short cycle to make sure it filled properly and didn't leak. Very professional and quick.

It charges my phone well, but I can only charge my phone from it once before I have to recharge the device itself. Absolutely no instructions come with it to indicate how many charges you get, but I would've thought it to be more than one. So if I need to charge more than once while I'm out then I'm stuck.

Can this washer be placed directly on the floor? I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a pedestal. I have cabinets in the laundry room for storing stuff.
