If you are looking for an amazing, quiet, cleaning machine. Look no further as this is a well-built incredibly quiet, self cleaning dishwasher! It not only gets my dishes amazingly clean, it does so virtually silently. In all honesty I think my refrigerator makes more noise in this machine. As an added bonus the ball bearing slides on the top rack, and the well made stainless steel silverware basket give it premium feel. That's not to mention that there's no filters that have to be maintained with this machine, as it has a hard food disposal!! That means absolutely no rinsing of dishes is required, and no nasty filters to handle! Needless to say it's worth every penny I paid and has made my life so much easier!

Is there a light indicating that the washer is running and if so does it show a different color when cycle is completed?
That was a good question. There is a green light on the front of the door that illuminates during the wash cycle. It goes out at the end of the cycle and the LCD on top edge of the door displays the word clean, until the door is opened and closed for the first time after the cycle.
