This deck has many features that make it appealing to a wide range of consumers. This was a gift for a teenager. He love the Bluetooth and remote capabilities. cheap but works well, rough shipping

This only turns off by unplugging it, there is a temperature adjustable knob but it does not have an off position. The unit is media sized and can accommodate 4 small pieces of bread or two of the larger bread types. It heats fast and cooks quicly, enough to melt cheese inside a panini and not burn outside. Temperature light to signal when item is done is not super accurate but is close when turned to higher settings. Compact enough for easy storage or counter use yet big enough for most uses. Great for students or small families on a budget and it does its job fairly well. Buy the Cuisinart if you want a larger and more versatile version, but it costs 2-3 times more.
The nonstick surface works very well. There is an adjustable slide in the handle that has a locking screw to prevent the lid from falling down on your hands while you are placing items on surface, it is touchy and not engineered very well but works okay when you get used to it, BE careful though.
Mine was shipped via USPS and arrive with a small piece broken off the plastic bottom corner, not enough to render it useless but enough to make it wobbly and slightly unlevel.
