Bowers & Wilkins STAV 24 S2 stands are a great match for a variety of bookshelf speakers, including our 607 and 606 speakers. Twin metal vertical columns can be filled with sand to for additional mass loading which provides additional support and helps dampen vibration and imporove bass.

I recently bought a pair of 686 S2 speakers to replace the back speakers in my 5.1 surround system. The sound these speakers produce is very clear with a full range of sound & excellent bass response . I also recently bought a pair of 685 S2 speakers to replace the front speakers in my surround system too. Combined all four speakers produce excellent sound with great bass. I would highly recommend buying these speakers.

Enjoy your music with these Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series 685 S2 2-way loudspeakers, which feature 6-1/2" woven Aramid fiber woofer cones for clear sound. The 1" decoupled double-dome aluminum tweeters deliver crisp, pure highs.

I recently added a pair of 685 S2 to my sound system I am in the process of upgrading my system I recently purchased a pair of 686 S2 speakers for my back speakers in my 5.1 surround system. The speakers sound amazing they produce have clear sound with strong bass combined with my 686's music & movies sound clear with excellent bass I am looking forward to upgrading my center & sub woofer to the Bowers & Wilkins 600 series in the future. I would highly recommend these speakers.
