I'm a Wahl fan; I use their products steadily to achieve a close shave for my coarse facial hair. Most products fall short in the electric shaver arena, but Wahl stands tall and strong. This product, however, works well minis the close shave aspect. I have employed every trick I know, but my cheaper--$20 Wahl electric shaver--cuts much closer. I appreciate the attachment diversity and quietness, though. For the price, which isn't much, I still expected more. Serves its purpose--especially since I was without a shaver, on vacation, when I made the purchase.
