I don't like the small feed-through scanners, so this is a good alternative. This scanner runs off USB power and is very light & portable. The included software is not compatible with my mac, but the normal apple scanning software that came with the computer works just fine. The stand is awfully flimsy, but I don't use it. I'm happy with the purchase.

I use this mouse with a Macbook Pro and a Lenovo Thinkpad. I really like using this with my Mac, but it does not work as well with the Lenovo. I could not make the scrolling feature work with the Lenovo which is kind of a pain. Overall, I am happy with the purchase since it works so well with the Mac and I got it for a good price as an open box product in the store.

I wanted to go from an hdmi to mini display port so I could hook my Macbook pro or my lenovo work computer to my monitor at home. I already had an hdmi to hdmi cable, so this made things work for me. I later set up a monitor in another location for the same purpose and bought a Belkin cable that went from hdmi to mini display without an adapter needed. I like the i cable solution better.

Better than the old design

They changed the design of these a few years ago to make it so the cord was parallel with the side of the computer. For me, this means I put less of a kink in my power cord. They seem to be a little more hardy than they used to be. I just bought another one so I could leave it at the office and not have to haul a cord back and forth from home every day.
