File transfers are very quick. I compared this to a couple other USB 3 drives I have and read and write rates were very similar. Using the OTG functionality works great as well. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the "chain" that holds the cap to cover the OTG (micro USB end) seems very weak and will likely break at some point. I would replace it with something stronger, but the hole in the cap is too small for most things. I think some aircraft steel cable for a key chain might be a good replacement.

These smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are the best. Being able to monitor/test/acknowledge issues from a smart phone makes it easy. I have tall ceilings and it's nice to initiate tests or to quiet it from my phone. We had an issue with smoke in the kitchen - note the detector is not in the kitchen, but in an adjacent room - and it started warning of the smoke. It didn't go off, just warned that there was smoke. I also got the warning to my phone. When this occurred, I raced downstairs where my wife had a fire in the oven. I was able to assist her with putting it out before it spread. I really appreciated them ability to acknowledge the warning as I ran down stairs to prevent it from going off because loud noises scare my dog. Another feature I love is the auto testing once a month or the ability to do it myself. I'm able to schedule it or force it to happen when we take the dog out to avoid duress for him. It also acts as a good reminder so I can be sure they are functioning correctly. It's hard to justify a whole house full of these - I would need 9 - $900, but I did replace 3 of ours - one on each floor.

I caught this on sale and for 64gb when I bought it, it was a fantastic deal! This drive has been fairly fast - not the fastest, but very good for the money. More importantly, it's been reliable. I've had bad luck with Patriot Memory and Corsair sticks going bad and needing replacements. I also like the way the USB connect retracts and extends out locking into place.

Great for dimmable ceiling fans

I bought these to replace lights in a ceiling fan that is dimmable. I wanted to replace the regular incandescent lights with something more energy efficient. These work great! I originally was looking at CFLs because they generally are cheaper and have decent life to them, but dimmable CFLs cost more than these LED lights! To me, the cost is still quite high in a normal situation, but for something dimmable, the cost is excellent and the lifetime should be very good. I plan to get these to replace the lights in the chandelier in my foyer when they fail simply because I won't need to get ~16ft high for many many years!

Next album including the usual cast

In the latest installment from Colt Ford and his usual cast, songs like "Goin' Deep" and "Standard American" are fantastic examples of popular country today and are very catchy. The rest of the album is less attractive. Almost half of the artists are no-names and the rest are well known. This is a good CD to get a bead on potential up and coming Country-Rap artists and to get a flavor of current groups at the top (LoCash Cowboys, The Lacs, Moonshine Bandits). If you have never bought a Mud Digger album, don't buy it for Colt Ford's name - he's really in the background for most of the songs.
