Very strong massager, some limitations

This massager will give you bruises if you aren't careful! That being said, if you have really deep tissue knots, this will get to them. My pains are deep in my hips, beneath the glutes, and the configuration of the massager makes it awkward to perform self-massage, particularly when you're trying to apply torque to the handle to dig in deep. The other limitation I don't like with this model is the spacing between massage heads is fixed, while some other massagers have adjustable ones. But all in all, it's power that I was seeking, and power is what this massager has!

Has stood up well to car vibration

I use this usb flash drive as a music library for my 2009 Porsche Cayman S. My car has an in-dash computer with limited storage, but will call up and run the music library housed on the flash drive. I have had no issues with the drive, despite elevated heat conditions from leaving my car in the sun, and bumpy northern California roads.

Decent hobby scope

My interest has been to look at sand-sized crystals. I have some mobility issues with my fingers, and quickly discovered that this scope isn't very forgiving. Parts that are wearing out quickly-
the plastic screw which connects the base and pole
the plastic screw which holds the scope clamp to the pole
the magnification adjustment knob (also plastic- it can get stuck in one position and then require a lot of force to get to turn)
In addition, on mine the illumination does not respond smoothly to the illumination knob. It goes from nothing to very bright. The switch on the illumination knob doesn't do anything (I think it's supposed to take a picture). Lastly, the scope illuminator is always on if it is plugged into the USB.
The software is worthless. Auto contrast is always running, so your images will only look a certain way. I run Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan), so edit them using Preview, Photos, Acrobat, etc.
But I am having fun with it, so I guess I'm happy. Not blown away.

what degree of intensity does this massager have?
There are four levels of intensity, plus the added heat function. While it is hard to describe intensity (a subjective term), If you want a kitty-purring-on-your-back massage, that'd be a 1 on my scale, and this would not be the right massager for you. This massager is best described as "man hands" intensity. The lowest setting is, in my opinion, probably a 4, meaning that the massager is not preoccupied with watching tv while giving you a massage. It's digging in with a purpose, but realizes it's got "man hands" and doesn't want to leave marks. Setting 2 is really a 6, setting 3 is a 9, and setting 4 requires Space Balls terminology (Ludicrous Speed). When I used setting 4 to work one area for five minutes, I was bruised the next day. I don't bruise easily, so I felt compelled to buy my massager a bouquet of flowers.

Are the massage heads suppose to light up when the "heat" function is on? The heat is so minimal that I don't really feel anything.
No, the heads won't light up. The heat function requires that you remove the hard or soft massage head covers (both come with it). Mine takes about one minute to reach skin temperature, and another minute to feel warm. It does not get heating-pad hot.
