I picked mine up from Best Buy, better deal to get 9.9ft for an extra $10. The lights in my strip have 3 sections that connect and can be controlled in 24 lighting areas. I have 4 lifx color 1000 bulbs and have them integrated into my smart home tech using IFTT and couldn't be happier. For now the colors are a bit off from the color 1000 to the Z strip but I have spoken with support and they assured me an update is dropping soon that will fix this.
I have reviewed these in video form on my Youtube channel search Amanda Woolsey Lifx Z to see in action.I also have a video showing how the color 1000 blinks to yellow when my Ring Doorbell sense motion outside or blinks red when my Nest Cam sense motion in my room and hopefully will scare aware any unwanted guests.
I currently have the Osram Lightify Strips on my gaming desk setup and Lifx Z on my video editing workspace and the Lifx is so much brighter and with all the customization options makes these by far the best Smart LED Strip

The bulbs are just a bit smaller than an old style light bulb. I liked the bulbs, particularly the ability to change the color of the white light and to dim the lights either together or independently. The ability to choose any color is kinda cool as well. However we were running two torch style floor lamps with 100W equivalent single color LED white bulbs and as these were only 60W equivalent they did not give us the same brightness in our living room when both on full power. Apparently 60W is the highest these type of bulbs go at this time. Since I liked the concept and wanted to use the gift I purchased a triple lamp to replace on of our old ones and purchased more bulbs so I could get more light using more bulbs.
I had a basic understanding of how the original bulbs were set up for me so when the new ones arrived I was ready to try to set them up using my Samsung Galaxy phone. Initially it went well with the LIFX software seeing the new lights and updating the firmware. I did run into a problem after that with both bulbs after that. The software would just go into a search loop when trying to locate the new bulbs on the network. It took some time but I found a solution on the LIFX forums. Apparently the software has a few kinks and one of them has to do with Android based devices. I found users with the same problem and eventually found a post I could understand about a possible fix. The fix was to go the the phone settings and turn off the mobile data function. Apparently this interferes with the device discovery of the bulbs. I can't explain it much better than that, but it worked like a charm. I clicked the mobile data off on my phone, reset the new bulbs by cycling them on and off 5 times. You then have to set them up again by finding them on the LIFX software. This time it found them on the network right away and they were added to my software control. Once you have setup all your lights go back in your phone settings and turn the mobile data back on. It does not affect your ability to operate the light once it is setup and other functions on your phone need this on to work I believe.
I ended up liking these a lot more on the triple lamp as setting the bulbs to 3 different colors really creates a cool looking effect. I have included a few pics with the bulbs set on different colors. Overall this is a cool, although expensive light bulb, The price is largely due to the fact that they direct transmit to your wireless network without additional adapters or routers. I took one star away due to the networking issues with my Android phone as that added about 2 hours to my setup trying to figure it out. I'm lucky I found the post and answer that I did and hopefully this review helps someone else who runs into the same issue.

I have loved and installed hundreds of harmony remotes. The Elite is the best product they have ever produced! I will start on why this might not want to install yourself. Followed by improvements over recent models.
1) IR blasters. If you have IR equipment all over the place the blasters may drive you nuts. The blasters do not adhere to the equipment. They just sit in front of it. If the blaster gets notched off a shelf or blocked the remote will not work right. The remote does a lot of control using IP communication so that helps a lot.
You can purchase adapters to go from 3/32" to standard 1/8" eyes. No problem using 1/8" mono y splitters to use more eyes. I think I have needed to do 8 eyes or more. I have rarely had an issue when eyes were used instead of IR blasters.
2) you need rock solid wifi! If your wifi network isn't reliable your remote will not be.
3) frequent updates. This is the first Harmony I have worked with that did not require a computer at any point. The previous model Harmony Ultimate Home needed a computer for firmware updates. The elite has already had a few updates even though it is just a week or two out in the world. Harmony remotes and hubs often require a reboot to work right after updating. The elite has been the same so far. No biggy, just reboot the hub and remote if something is not working right.

They are great speakers, however, they did not come with any instructions or pictures... I know what you may be thinking, "they are just speakers... Plug them in and listen" :) well I missed the Speaker Output on the rear of the subwoofer and instead plugged them into the headphone jack on the little corded remote. I had an issue with. Then I saw 'Speaker Output' there on the back of the subwoofer, I plugged it all back together and it was GLORIOUS

I probably returned at least a dozen that would never connect or stay connected even after bulb resets. (Turn on and off 5 times)
They get pretty hot for an LED bulb. The 4 watt bulbs barely got warm and that's good for your AC.
For best signal the router manual says: "Place the router away from large glass surfaces." If your light bulb is enclosed in a ceiling fixture, chances are it's behind glass. But that's not why mine are only in table and floor lamps. Also not due to the builder-grade ceiling lights with weak, flimsy assembly between the socket and the light fixture. Although if I tried installing one in a ceiling fixture - that might become a reason.
When you turn on a light switch, your probably doing it because you need light. My Lifx light would come on set to Red or Blue, etc. at 25% power. This does not work if you turned on the light to look for something. So you have to go find your phone and open the app, set it to White, turn up the brightness. That's not convenient. So ceiling lights are for actual light and table and floor lamps are for mood lighting.
With the weird shape, they won't work with every fixture. They barely fit under some of the Tiffany shades. Some of the shades had to be raised a small amount to accommodate the squared off corners.
If you have a lot. They take up a lot of spots on your router.
The BR30 version doesn't not completely turn off unless you cut the power. Once your eyes adjust to the dark room, you'll see a very faint glow - even through a translucent lamp shade. It's very dim and not a big deal but it is definitely not fully off.
The A19s are all in Tiffany lamps with cut glass shades - so they are behind glass, mostly. Something the router manual says to avoid. The BR30s are in floor lamps with either Alabaster style or cut glass shades. Again, behind glass.
The metal arms on the table lamp sockets are metal tubular steel and built solid - yet because these arms are horizontal I can see the arms sagging under the weight. Some of the bulbs are sort of peeking out from under these shades - not so with the LED bulbs that were in these lamps. The socket on one arm actually broke under the weight. I have yet to try and fix that.
