warranty and equipment protection policy
The description says it covers $150,000 of replacing equipment that is plugged into this UPS. Does that include a $36,000 long-arm quilting machine?
You would have to ask the manufacturer about that. I believe it ONLY covers your computer equipment, but if the computer that runs your quilting machine is plugged into the APC, then I imagine it would! Call the manufacturer. Ask THEM!

Nick, the APC unit is not a generator. It is only a power BUFFER that provides a few minutes of power in the event your utility power goes out. it is meant to allow you to properly SHUT DOWN your computer ONLY.

This is not intended to RUN your computer. The purpose of a battery backup is for when your utility power suddenly goes out. Instead of your computer suddenly shutting down, perhaps while writing a file to the hard drive (which would cause drive errors), the APC unit gives you a few MINUTES of power to PROPERLY shut down your computer, by closing files and programs, and doing a proper SHUT DOWN.
