Great UHD-TV

We were looking for something larger than our 6 year old 73" Mitsu DLP HDTV -- the new Sony 79" 4K model was beautiful but was $6,995; Samsung's 75" gave up no picture quality, a bit of size but was $3,995. Professional reviews were strong and we have no interest in 3D -- we looked at both the HD and this UHD version -- and, despite the virtual lack of UHD programming in June 2015, we know it is coming. This seemed the obvious choice, even though it was only 2" bigger than the outgoing Mitsu.

The picture, once calibrated, is fantastic. It can be watched in a brightly lit room, if you want, too. Current BluRay discs and Amazon 1080P movies and shows pop right off the screen.

There were no better looking TV's on the BestBuy showroom floor -- but there were more expensive ones.

It needs to be calibrated, is the only thing you should know, other than that small item, you will love watching this Samsung UHD TV.
