A must buy if you want to add some ambience to any part of your living space. Not only is it easy to set up but its colors are extremely bright and the app lets you truly harness the full capability of these LED light strips.
Pros:
Colors: very bright and accurate
Set up: super easy, if you can set up your wifi, then you can set up this light strip
Multizone: you can change colors on the light strip to your liking using the app
Adhesive: 3M strips so you can stick them almost anywhere ( I haven't used this yet because I am undecided on the placement but will probably use the adhesive soon)
Applications: ability to change colors in real time from app to the led strip, strobe, color change, candle flicker, audio visualizer, movement of lights in a patter (after the newest firmware update) and the fact that these lights remember what the last color was before you turn it off from either the light switch or the app
No need for HUB: just plug into the socket and download the app. no need to buy a hub or bridge

Easy to set up and amazing colors

This product is great and easy to set up. I had previously gotten the LIFX+ but realized I did not need to spend extra for night vision considering this was going in my media room. I had also considered using the HUE but do to their poor brightness and color reproduction and the need for a hub I ended up with going with the LIFX bulbs.
Pros:
Easy to set up. All you do is connect to the bulb via the app, then log into your own wifi network with your home internet password and there you go it is set up.

Best basketball game ever

I am a huge nba 2k fan, been playing since the days when Iverson was on the cover and this one really stands out to me in terms of motion, presentation and features.
Motion,controls,gameplay: Feels much tighter than previous years, and when you move the sticks players react with weight, acceleration and momentum. It definitely feels better than previous iterations where you would try to go in one direction and it wouldn't move your character there exactly. The buttons for passing have changed and the pick system is slightly modified but overall it just feels soo much better.
presentation: pregame, halftime, post game, in game interview, post quarter interview. wow this game is legit, it looks like you are watching tnt with kenny ernie and shaq. the main commentary feels a bit weird with the new commentator but its ok.
features: plenty of new features, the modes look great, havent tried them all but i love the extra historic teams and really love that my rockets with tmac and yao are in the game. They look kind of off compared to the real players but thats prob due to the lack of facial scanning because I am guessing its hard to get a hold of guys not in the league anymore.
If you love basketball you must have this game and if you dont you are really doing a disservice to yourself and your fanhood

ok sound but requires the right format

So i was getting the vizio sb40 5.1 but I took my wife a long and this complicated things. She liked the style and form factor the sony bar had because it fit perfectly underneath our sony 4k and despised the plain looking bulky vizio bar. The vizio was going to be 3'' high so it would most likely block the bottom of our tv so I knew I would have to come up with some make shift way of elevating the TV since it is on the stands and when I realized this could make my set up look tacky I started to learn more towards the bar due to
1. style (it looks nice I will admit it)
2. Technology (has arc, has Dolby TruHD and is 4k compatible and has all the new bells and whistles sony came out with this year except for the LDAC) thus making this bar sort of future proof for at least a year.

So I have a strange shaped apartment as I have a wall on one side of my TV and open area to the other side and then my living room is wide. Its not a typical square or enclosed space for any sort of dedicated media room and the flooring is wood. At best buy this was the soundbar that sounded very good but so far I have been underwhelmed with most of my AT&T U-verse. The PS4 has been good (arkham knight) and my xbox nba 2k sounded kinda blah even in the sports or game sound setting. I wont lie, I have been spoiled by a 5.1 bowers and wilkins speaker which I was using predominantly at my old house but space did not make it possible for me to bring it by so of course I wanted a simplistic sound solution hence going for a soundbar and not a home theater in a box (HTIB).

It has a good kick to it and have no real complaints for the few times I tried it on very high, out of 12 I think a 6 is good enough for most viewing.

I have things set up via ARC but it wasn't how I expected it worked, I thought everything was going to be hooked up into my tv and then the ARC output from the TV would go in to the soundbar and I would have sound. I realized that is wrong, you must hook all inputs into the soundbar and then have the arc from the soundbar to the TV. That is kind of annoying because contorting the stiff hdmi in to a strange plug in spot on the bar was kind of difficult.

It doesn't sound as good unless you have some device that utilizes Dolby TruHD such as Blu-ray on a new player. I am not gonna I don't really feel the trickery of the virtual surround sound and its hard to expect much from a 2.1 system. I am debating about going back to switch it out for the vizio, even though it doesn't have Dolby TruHD (it just has dolby digital and it doesnt have 4k pass through). Plus Vizio is much cheaper and Ill be getting some money back. I will wait to watch some movies and games this weekend to really push the system and make my decision. But i might be disappointed because I have had a HTIB by samsung which was pretty good and just recently was listening to my B&W CM5 rear and CM7 front speakers so it is a big difference when coming from a system like that. If you aren't that big of an audiophile I think this bar would be decent, but at $450 I would expect more channels and more clarity in the voices and sports. I still have time to tinker with the controls and sources I will be using this bar for because I am elite plus so I have 45 days to make a decision but I hope to plan on making one by this weekend.

I am giving this soundbar so far a 3 out of 5 and would have given it a 2 but the whole future proof and 4k pass through compared to all the soundbars on the market give it a leg up on its competition.
I know sony has a soundbar with rear speakers released in Europe and Australia but it has yet to come out in the states. If it comes out soon that is the one I would be trying to get. Best of luck on your purchase.

This game is a precursor for the phantom pain so its more of a glorified demo but atleast its cheap. I had a lot of fun playing the missions in diff ways and difficulties and if your new to the series this is a great way to learn the controls on next gen system before the real game comes out. This game looks better on ps4 so if you have ps4 get it on that system.

By now all the power levels are above 9000 and if I could review this series it would be over 9000 stars haha. Anyways...Ok this is the version that was uncut and played on toonami back in the day. This series will have the bruce faulconer track but not this early in the season, for those of you who really want his themes, they start at season 3-4. Anyways this has been cropped so there are ppl that cry that there is some stuff cut off but its very minor and I dont believe it takes away from the experience. This was awesome watching a little more crisp then when it was on Cartoon Network and really brought out the inner child in me. Love the extras on these blu rays, they are def something worth watching. Of course if you love DBZ get this, its amazing the resurgence this show has had in the last few months. This is the start to my new blu ray DBZ collection. A must have for fans.
