Great computer for school!

I bought this computer for my wife who is currently going to nursing school. In comparison to her previous laptop this one is much more portable and user friendly. The processing speed on this version (M5) is really good and it's really nice to a a generous (512GB) hard drive for storage. I would highly recommend this MacBook to any student!

After owning a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, the 2016 MacBook is a godsend! The new Pro is much easier to haul around at about 3 lbs (as opposed to 4.5 lbs for the 2012 Pro). The screen, processing speed, speakers, and trackpad are all improved in comparison as well. Of course, the build quality is top notch so I expect to have this laptop for at least a few years and probably more as a back up.

If you plan on keeping your Mac for 3+ years apple care is a must! The last MacBook Pro that I bought was very well taken care of and only had a couple small glitches in the 4 years that I owned it; however it was great to be able to take it in to the Apple Store and have it checked out if I ever had a concern. Apple always fixed the problem quickly and had my computer back to me in a couple of days at most.
