Great picture. Need to put the remote app on your phone or tablet. The remote is not very good. Setup can be tricky too. Follow it to the letter or you will be calling customer support like I had too. I have had it for 1 year now and am very satisfied.

Are you able to access Sling from the tv or do you need to use another device to cast it through the Chromecast? In other words is the sling tv app available on this model yet? Thank you
I use Roku as it contains all my internet connections in one place.

My only complaint about Vizio televisions is tiny metal legs that they stand on, the lack of a true base. My concern is this. I just bought this new model today (the M55), and my concern is that my TV stand is only 45" wide. Are there bigger bases?
I simply cut a larger piece of wood, stained it and attached the stand to it. No problems a year later.

VIZIO TV need a cable box to see all of the stations that A cable box gives you Like Comcast.net ?
Roku, and Amazon Fire will work fine. If your cable company has a app compatible with either then no cable box is required.
