I've been collecting Universal Horror movies for the past year. These are fun to watch and see the historical contexts of these films within the cinema world. Highly recommended to anyone who is a fan of this genre and exploring older movies!
Not sure going in if this would be either really campy or taken in a more suspenseful direction. It could have work either way and I'm glad it went the more suspenseful route. Glad I picked this up. It's not John Carpenter's more well known film like Halloween, The Thing, or They Live. There is enough atmosphere to make this worth a watch. Also reading the book now.
The best part for me was watching the bonus features and seeing how sophisticated the claymation process became. It made me appreciate these movies even more. It's sad it's a movie making style not used as much anymore. All three of these are entertaining and fun in their own ways. Glad I picked this up!
Plenty of bonus features on all these discs and love watching the Bourne movies. It even has a slot for when Jason Bourne comes out on Blu-Ray. Highly recommended to have in your collection!
Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, this Samsung BD-J5700/ZA Blu-ray player allows you to enjoy streaming media from your favorite content providers, including Netflix, Pandora and more. AllShare DLNA capability lets you stream content stored on your home network.
Looking for a streaming device as well as something to upscale my dvd collection. This was worth picking up for the price. Since I have a Samsung tv, the remote included with the blu-ray player works with the tv as well. The quality looks great for both blu-ray and dvds.
Eagerly awaited this movie when I first saw the teaser trailer years ago. I've been a Peanuts fan as far as I can remember. There was a lot of love and care to pay homage to Charles Schulz work. In addition, the blu-ray comes with plenty of additional features. Worth picking up!
See Kirby like never before in Kirby: Planet Robobot. This cute little pink puffball suddenly goes mecha when he finds mysterious armor that'll help him defeat ruthless invaders from destroying his home world. Smash through virtually anything that gets in his way, shape-shift and save the world in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
I played the earlier Kirby games for the Gameboy and the N64. Originally, I wasn't sure if I would like it. It's been a lot of fun with great puzzles to figure out. The mech suit is a nice addition and fits into the game play very well. Highly recommend for a hand-held game!
The Don Bluth-directed, Steven Spielberg-produced An American Tail, a lighthearted animated look at immigrants, comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, respectively. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a singalong section for the film's famous song "Somewhere Out There" and a handful of interactive games to entertain children. While the disc offers nothing of interest for those who want to learn about the animation process, kids will enjoy the extras on this Universal release. The DVD was released the same day as three of the film's sequels, including the theatrically released An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.
Doug Walker speaks highly of Don Bluth and I picked this up off of his recommendation. Very well animated and definitely carries emotional weight! Must watch!
Seriously one of my favorite movies of 2015. I've been looking forward to this movie since the Notorious movie came out in 2009. You're doing yourself a favor, if you're a hip-hop fan, if you pick this movie up!
