I selected this tripod because every other tripod I own has an issue with holding my D300 and D500 in place. In a vertical position the camera starts to droop. not a problem with this tripod.
the down side is the leg angle and height of the tripod. the tripod can be a bit unstable or can be difficult to get it high enough to see over a railing
