I purchased this case because I have a rather rough track record with phones. I have dropped my phone many times and I can say that if it were not for my otterbox I would have gone through three or four different phones. I recently broke my other otterbox but only barely and that was after it dropping from waist height many times due to my careless handling. Whether if I was at work, at the shooting range, out in the desert rock crawling or some other thing that involves me being moving a lot this case has been rock solid. Now I did mention that I damaged mine but it was only a small crack in the inner plastic case but I decided to buy a new one just because I didn't want to take the chance of me breaking my $700 phone. The case still works and it was great but I think the best part is that it broke falling down a flight of stairs onto a tile floor and only got a small crack, that is some fine protection. These cases have served me well on all of my smartphones and I will continue to buy them for as long as I have phones that do not meet military standards.

I bought this PNY drive because it was cheap and my store didn't carry Intel branded drives any longer. I bought this to speed up my ASUS Q550L which while being a high end laptop with an i7, was not fast at all thanks to the 5400 RPM hard drive that ASUS decided to pair with it. From there I cloned the old hard drive using the provided software and swapped out the drives once the process was done and kept the old drive is a dark safe place in the packaging that the SSD came in.
After having the SSD for nearly a month in the same laptop all I have to say is that I am impressed for the speed that this SSD gives. It is actually faster than my Intel 530 series SSD that is in my desktop, and that is saying something from a no name memory mfg that sources B grade MLC NAND. Using Crystal Disk Mark I was able to net 540 MB/s consistent read and writes in Windows 10. All in all a very good drive for the money I spent. Oh yeah and Best Buy price matched this down for a sale that Amazon had.

When I heard that the 10 series cards had arrived I had to get my hands on one since I wanted to replace my GTX 970 in order to keep up with games at 1080p and 1440p for max settings with at least 60 FPS. I had originally bought the Founders Card and while it is a great card, I couldn't squeeze as much performance out of it as I would like due to high heat output by the blower style cooler and having to increase power to the fan which took away from my overclocking headroom.
Since I bought this EVGA model I have been fairly satisfied with it. The card runs a lot cooler and quieter since it has an open air design. Due to this I am able to have the fans run at a lower RPM thus reducing overall noise and power consumption. Out of the box this card has the fans set to not spin until about 60 C, which is more than safe for this card. However I was able to apply a custom fan curve using MSI Afterburner to increase fan speeds, core clock, mem clock, temp limits, and voltage targets. On the Founder's Card I was able to run the core at 1988 MHz and memory at 4500 MHz (9000 effective) at 75-85 C with a very aggressive fan curve. On this EVGA SC model the card runs at 2050-2088 MHz on the core and 4700 MHz (9400 MHz effective) at roughly 66 C. All of that means I was able to push this card farther at lower temps thanks to the design of the cooler just being changed.
The only downfall of this card is that it uses the same PCB of the Founders Edition card so there are no extra VRM and Mosfets to help increase power the memory and GPU die so I am at the limit of this card electrically. If you want to push this card harder I would recommend the ASUS Strix, MSI Gaming X, EVGA FTW models, and Zotac Amp cards.
In games I am able to max out all settings at 1080p and 1440p with 60 FPS or higher.

I bought this case to replace my old derelict case from the XP era. This case has lots of features that you can read about in the product description, I am going to talk about my experience with the case when it comes to airflow, how easy or hard it was to build in, and the over all look it has on my desk.
When it comes to options for airflow this case is no slouch, it has plenty of mounting points for fans or radiators or both. You can fit two fans up front, two on top, one in the back, and one on the bottom. The two tops fans can be added by taking out the noise absorption material, but the mounting points and the ventilation holes are already there for you to install your fans. The front fan mounts use clips rather than screws, to my surprise. They attach to an assembly that consists of the fans, the bracket, and the dust filter to keep as much dust as possible out of your computer. I used this to my advantage when removing the rear fan and moving it up front so I could mount a single 120mm radiator to the rear. The front drive cages also sit in front of the fans and they can be left there, re-oriented, or removed altogether to improve airflow.
Onto building in the case. This case is magnificent to build in. I have built in the non windowed case as well and both are a dream to build in. There is plenty of room for cables to run and not interfere with the back panel, the motherboard tray is massive allowing for even EATX boards, however this would cover the grommets for the cable routing holes. I was able to mount all of my hardware without any issues whatsoever. There are very few tie down points on the back of the motherboard tray however so keep that in mind when routing your cables.
As for the case as a whole, the thing is solid. It has no flex in it at all and it is pretty dense on account of the sound dampening material that Fractal uses. The side panel is Plexiglas and very cheap at that, it scratches super easy.
The only reason I gave this case 4 stars is that the fan mounting bracket door to remove the dust filter is damaged and does not close all the way.

I have a gaming PC and while I have way more ports than the average person would ever need to use, I ran out and needed more for my devices and peripherals. I looked at this because it was cheap and I could use it for more USB ports. The card sits in a PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 1x slot so you can literally put it in most modern PC's from 2010 or newer with no issue. You do need to install drivers for it which is not a problem in the slightest as it uses a third party controller for resource allocation to ports. My complaint is that this card needs a power cable from the power supply plugged into it, and no it's not a Molex or SATA Power cable, it's a 4 pin floppy cable. Literally a cable that no modern PC should use at all since this device is designed to be used in a 2010 or newer computer. Now I had this cable on my power supply and I suspect that most people do, but my gripe is that this cannot for whatever reason, draw power from the PCIe slot even though it does provide around 30 watts of power at peak. I have since replaced this for something that uses an Intel controller, has 4 ports, and can run off the PCIe 1x by itself.

I bought this monitor only because I had money to spare and wanted a second monitor but I didn't have enough money to buy the larger ASUS monitor that I had my eye on. As for this monitor itself, well it's not bad and I have very few complaints about it since I have been using it for well over a month now and have used it for gaming as well as video watching. My first gripe is the color accuracy, I know that this is a cheap monitor so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but I did have to calibrate the color out of the box to make the colors less red and yellow tinted. My second gripe is that this monitor also does not have height adjustment, which is something that would really make this monitor great for use at my desk. Anything else I could complain about is trivial and really shouldn't be mentioned as it won't really be noticeable.
Now as far as how good this monitor is, well I'm impressed. I have used really bad monitors and I have used some really great 4K panels and I must say that for the price I paid (129.99 on sale) it really can't be beat. I mean honestly it has an IPS screen which is offers decent color reproduction (again once calibrated using a tool) with wide viewing angles which is a must with the setup I currently have. The bezels around the edges are also very nice, they are not as thin as I would like but they are designed so that they are in line with the rest of the screen so it makes it look uniform. There are some decent ports that offer a wide range of display connectivity from VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI but sadly no DisplayPort, the stand is very nice and sturdy feeling, the tilt is nice and stiff making it so that the monitor can be adjusted but it is not loose to where it just falls back down, and the overall design just looks great. I use this monitor for gaming and productivity as well as Facebook and email and it looks amazing.
Overall this is a very good monitor for the price and it is very competitively priced compared to Dell panels that are usually a much higher quality item. I would definitely recommend this to someone on a budget for a cheap 1080p panel.

Great Headset with Room for Improvement

So I went ahead and bought this headset on a whim, my Logitech G930's had finally died after serving me well for a very long time. I was in the market for something that was from a trusted brand, was very well received, was wireless, had a built in mic, was comfortable, and also looked good. I had been looking for a new headset for a few weeks and I was considering the not yet released Logitech G933, the HyperX Cloud II, and of course the Corsair VOID headset. I won't go over the specifics of the other mentioned headsets as I have settled on this one otherwise I wouldn't be needing to write this review.
Pros: The best things that I can say about this headset would have to center around the battery life and audio quality. The battery is rated for around 16 hours I believe of non stop gaming. I can confirm that the battery life is at least 16 hours as I have gone for days with the headset on a single charge and the indicator LED's on the boom mic as well as an audible tone allow me to know when the battery is running low. My only complaint about the battery warning indicator is that the LED's that Corsair claims are in your peripheral vision are not completely visible as the boom is skewed slightly making the LED's hard to see unless you strain your eyes to look at them. As for the sound quality, well it's pretty good for 50 mm drivers, probably some of the best in its class of headsets. The audio range is good and there is deep bass and warm highs. I really do like the fact that this has simulated 7.1 channel Dolby Surround but since it is simulated there can be some issues in games with sounds from behind not being audible.
Cons: Two of my biggest gripes of this headset are going to centered around the CUE software and the power port, now you're probably gonna say, "The power port, really? Surely you could have found another flaw." and you would be right but that is what I will focus on. As for Corsair's CUE software there are a few quirks that it has with the driver as well as the lighting profiles. While the overall design and usefulness of the software is great I found that the lighting profile felt to be incomplete. When the CUE software is not running there is a constant rainbow on the headset that I really like, however CUE does not allow that and instead the "Rainbow Pulse" setting is just 7 preset colors that fade in and out repeatedly, very annoying. Aside from this the color profiling is very robust and can be used to match lighting themes on other Corsair RGB products. My other issue with CUE is the driver itself, my issue is that with prolonged use I found that the CUE audio driver conflicted with my Realtek ALC1150 audio drivers on my ASUS motherboard which then cause the Windows Audio Device Graph.exe to skyrocket my CPU usage while idling and in games. It constantly made my overclocked computer turn into a snail and I was very displeased with this. I think Corsair could have taken more time to make sure that issues like this would not have happened. The other issue I had was concerning the feeling of fragility of the power port for when I need to charge this. When you plug in any USB cable to a device for the first time it will always feel a bit stiff but it soon loosens up after a few uses, however with the VOID I found myself exerting unnecessary amounts of force to remove the cable from the port after charging, even now after almost 3 weeks of extended use. I feel that with all of this unnecessary force I am going to break the port as I have already damaged the cable that came with it. If Corsair could refine this in maybe a revision 2.0 that would be great.
Overview: While there are a lot of pros and cons that can be listed off, this is still a great headset for the money whether you spring to the SE Yellow Jacket like I did of if you would rather have the black ones without all of the annoying yellow. The headset has great wireless range and I am able to freely walk about my house while listening to music and not have to be tethered to my desktop by a cable. The sound is very loud and it comes across very clear as long as there are no obstructions and there is no interference from other 2.4 GHz band devices. The headset also feels very durable and seems to have more heft to it compared to my G930's making me feel a little more comfortable with its construction. The headband and earcups have memory foam cushions that are upholstered by fabric rather than simulated leather which makes them much more comfortable and much harder to sweat in. The mic is sub par, it's what you would expect from any standard headset mic that is going to be using VOIP software to control it. It's great for gaming but if you are into streaming or creating YouTube or Vessel content then I would invest in an actual desktop microphone with a pop filter. Overall this headset is great for the money and I have had very few issues with it so far, this is one purchase that I can say with confidence is money well spent.

The assassins creed series has been one of my favorites for a very long time, but this game is horrid. The gameplay is unintuitive and the opening scenes are awful, they do nothing to get you involved in the game like the previous games did. The control scheme is also very different and cumbersome if you are used to AC 1, 2, Brotherhood or Revelations. I would not buy this for a friend.

I bought this freezer after I took a trip back to my home state and my fridge/freezer did not have enough room for the beef products I brought back. The store I went to did not have this in a new unopened condition so I bought the open box model knowing full well what that entails. I was politely informed that it had a cosmetic defect and that was fine with me since it sits out of the way anyway and that there was nothing mechanically wrong with it. Now that I have had the freezer for two weeks now I can say that it works exceptionally well. It keeps the beef and other products frozen and it does it very quietly, you barely notice the compressor running to freeze the contents. Overall this is a very good freezer if you need extra space and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I also have a geek squad protection plan on the unit as well so if anything does go wrong then I am covered.

Which Graphic card for a laptop?
I have a Satellite x205-s9810 toshiba laptop and the games im running are not getting the frame rates i desire. It has a nvidia geforce 8700 gt with 512mb ram inside now. would like to run my itunes and the game worldofwarcaft at the same time with 50-60 fps. as i am getting 14 to 30fps now.
