This printer works well, has a small footprint, and is relatively quiet. It does double sided documents very easily and it's AirPrint compatible.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the photo paper loading. It's not obvious from the documentation where to put the photo paper. The tray needs to be realigned or the printer will not be able to grab the photo paper.

I upgraded to this from a MacBook Air (with an i7 processor) and this laptop is much faster and has a much much better screen. It's also just as light. The SSD speed makes this laptop feel very fast.
Don't worry about the lack of USB-A ports. USB-C works well and all laptops are headed that way anyway.
