Upgraded for Windows 10

I needed to upgrade my graphics card when I loaded Windows 10. I needed a PCI Express 2 card. This one fit perfectly and Windows automatically loaded the correct drivers. I recommend downloading the NVidia control package.
This card is quiet and compact. The card it replaced used up two slots and needed it's own power connectors!

The MX Anywhere mouse has been my weapon of choice for my various laptops since the first one came out. It fits in the hand and has all the extras. Never had one fail. I got a new laptop and picked up the new MX. It still has the same features as before, but now has blue tooth. My favorite new feature is that it is rechargeable.

I have several of these for multiple computers. This one goes with my new work laptop. It was great to pick it up at a discount.

Fills the room without the "Boom"

Replaced an 8" version that was damaged in a move. Glad I stepped up to the larger speaker. Really fills the room with the boom box slap that you hear with other subs.
Only a little disappointed to see that the on-board control panel has been removed.

Can accessory speakers be used w/o a receiver?

I have a Samsung 46" HD LCD TV. I don't use a receiver. Can I hook up 2 speakers from the back of the set, and can I independently control the volume of those accessory speakers?
Bill,

Yes you can, but be aware that if you use an HDMI connection to drive the video, you will have a significant delay on the sound coming out of the aux speakers. The lip-sync will definitely annoy.

Better to use a speaker or set of speakers that are also HDMI. You connect the HDMI output to the speakers, then pass them through to the TV.

Of course, an HDMI connected receiver will not generate the delay.
