Older model was much better.

Bought this as a gift for my kids for Christmas. I had an older GPX model that was very similar in features, size and looks that we used for 3-4 years until it finally gave out. Seeing this one and being pleased with our older one I decided to give it a try. The first time we opened to use it the music kept cutting in and out while you were singing and the microphone just didn't work that well. Overall the quality and feel was much cheaper and it did not perform at all like the older model. I decided to return it and probably will not be buying another GPX. Unfortunately it seems like the quality of the product is just not what it used to be.
What's great about it: Not much really
What's not so great: Mic didn't work well. Music cut in and out when singing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
