I haven't owned a desktop computer in over six years. I've only used a laptop and tablet. I didn't realize how much I missed using a desktop until I bought this one.
The large screen is awesome! The resolution is great for word processing and spreadsheet applications. The large screen is also great for the Windows 8.1 touchscreen functions.
There are six USB ports, two of which are USB 3.0. I love the fact that it's a virtually wireless system; no keyboard or mouse wires. There is so much to like about this PC, I could on and on. I even bought one for my 76 year old mother, and recommend it to my doctor.
The only negative I could think of is: I'm not a huge fan of the AMD A6 processor. It's okay for most functions, but it's not as efficient as its Intel counterpart when it comes to multitasking.
All being said; go buy this PC, you will NOT be sorry.

The Amazon Fire has more sizzle than steak. First off, that commercial featuring Gary Busey is far past being annoying, it was one of the reasons I held off buying the Fire.
The much heralded voice search feature would be better suited if it worked for whichever app you were currently using, however it only performs searches for Amazon Prime video.
The Fire really does nothing for me that my Roku doesn't do, and my Roku has far more channel options. The only reason I hadn't returned the Fire is because I'm anticipating Amazon will add more features to it.
