It's cheesy, it's over-the-top action with outdated visual effects, and ridiculous at times. And that's the way I like it. If you like the movie ( you probably have seen it every year during July 4th on tv), then you should get the bluray. They really went out of their way with excellent visual and audio quality and plenty of features to go through.
This is an absolutely gorgeous steelbook. It is glossy all the way around. The "A" logo is embossed and debossed. The Utron on the back is really clear and sharp looking. No emboss or deboss tho. Inside art has all the characters next to each other in rectangular image fashion. Too bad the discs is just ugly plain blue. Overall this is really an awesome looking steelbook.
You're watching this movie for stunning visual, awesome car explosions, and adrenaline rush. I don't care if this is not your thing. Watch it. You won't regret! Highest recommendation!
The song "Somewhere Out There" is probably more popular than the film itself. But Bluth's animations always hold a special place in my heart. Picture quality slightly better than DVD and the only two extras are the song and a trailer. What a let down. But the animation is still worth the purchase.
It's funny in the 80s and still funny now. The sound and the picture are better than ever. Steelbook is at budget price for budget quality. Nice design cover front and back with electrice blue matt finish. No artwork inside the case. Disc is the same as standard version.
A perfect ensemble with superb performances and well crafted story that will keep you watching until the mystery unfold. Great bluray transfer and few nice extras.
Two exceptionally well made inspirational sports movies in one package. If you don't "remember the Titans", remember these two. They are in the bargain bin price now.
Entertained and captivated from start to finish. So well directed and crafted that I don't want to move my eyes away for a second. Every actors gave their best performance. Even the bluray transfer does justice. Highly recommended.
Nothing groundbreaking of this courtroom drama but the excellent performance by Matthew McConaughey help the story to move along. Good bluray transfer and few nice featurettes
