We recently finished our dream log home with the obligatory loft. I was tired of hauling my full-size vacuum up the stairs, so searched for a stick vac. This one fits the bill. I have used it to vacuum the hardwood floors and area rug in the loft, the hardwood floors on the main floor (with the fluffy head), the carpeted stairs to the basement, and my van after hauling the grandchildren around. It does the job in every situation. The battery does last only about 15 - 20 minutes, but it works like crazy until it does.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this all-in-one, and I have not been disappointed. I was able to clear a lot of space on and in my desk by getting rid of a tower and external speakers.
