Good item but needs improvement

Good item as far as holding phone and gps securely. The vent mount is not easy to connect on the vent or to remove. The mount has to be taken apart and put back together to fit. It would be better if this were a one piece item. The holder for the phone/gps is adjustable which is good, Garmin has a vent mount which is good but is only for certain gps. It has a knob to turn to make the mount secure in the vent. Sadly, I returned this item due to difficulty installing and uninstalling. I am a female and had to call a male friend to see how to operate.

What's not so great: vent mount not so easy to install on vents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a gps with mount of course but was looking for something that could be mounted like gps for my cell phone since this also has a gps and is used quite frequently. I have the samsung galaxy s3 phone. I purchased this mount and like the fact that it can be adjusted to hold several different sizes of electronics up to a large phone or gps. It is also adjustable for viewing - can be moved up,down or side to side. The grip is strong and I have no fear that it will become dislodged. Glad for this purchase. Only drawback is a problem keeping in glove compartment with other things in it. But my glove compartment is not large.
