I got these for my wife because she has mentioned wanting bluetooth headphones and she's not as picky as I am. I set them up for her and after a few days I tried them for myself. They sounded terrible. I told her I would take them back if she wanted and she did not protest at all. They paired well but they look and feel cheap and the sound from them was worse than a $5 pair of convenience store headphones. You can do better than this Insignia.

I was looking for an upgrade to my wife's car. This stereo has great sound but it is very difficult to use. Too many menus, the display is crammed together and the back lighting is terrible. Bluetooth connections are questionable with android. I have already talked to BB about returning it. Too bad I have to uninstall it.

Great Sound for it's size

I chose this over Bose because the Bose bass is too muddy. The HK One has very clear sound and doesn't try to produce bass that can't be produced in a small package. Get the Onyx for big bass. Has plenty of volume and looks good. Battery life isn't the best, but I use an external battery if we need to take it out for more than 3-4 hours.

Sounds better than the old stereo. I'm using factory Ford speakers in a 2000 F350. I would like to upgrade speakers as well. I'm sure it would sound even better.
Touch screen is very responsive
Backup camera (bought separately) is very clear and switches quickly. I have had positive comments from passengers about quality of the image. This is the main reason I wanted this type of screen.
Plenty of options for equalizer and display
Bluetooth works well (connected to HTC One M8)
DVD works well
