This Insignia small freezer holds more items than I had imagined for it's size. The compressor is so quiet, the only way i know it's running is by placing my ear against the unit. I use a precision thermometer: Easily holds zero degrees with the temp selector set less than half way. No complaints-Could not be more satisfied.

Comfortable to wear over the ears, with quite a bit of sound deadening from the over the ear muffs. I enjoy the ability to add bass and surround sound effects as I exercise while watching TV, DVD's or listening to Music.
Very easy to set up. Plug into electric and connect to TV via optical connection, or connect to the sound jack on the front of receiver. Wait for the batteries to charge and they are ready to use.

Is it hard to use this as a laptop on your lap? Do you need a flat surface (like a desk) to keep it propped up, or does it work well when it's actually in your lap (like if you want to work sitting in a recliner)?

How much ventilation space does it need on each side? Can I push it right up against a wall at the back, if the right side is open? It looks like the vent is on the right side in the pictures.
Venting ports are on right side of unit and right side at back. Need 6 inches of clearance at those areas.

Is sennheiser rs 175 compatible to Samsung 40" LED TV?
Yes, if you have an optical port at the back of the TV. The 175 does not come with optical cable. Go buy one at Best Buy, Staples, or Amazon. Connect one end of the optical cable to the charging base, the other end to the TV optical.

Compatibility to Samsung TV
Are these compatible with Samsung UN65J8500FXZA? TV has connector box for dvd, cable, etc. Box has audio out connection for optical cable. Is cable included with headphones? Is adapter needed?
Phones do come with optical cable. Buy cable and connect from base optical port to TV optical port. Works great with my Samsung.

Does the Base Station Charge the HeadSet?
I have a pair of Sony's that charge when hung on the base station. Is that the case here?
Yes. After use when you place the headset on top of the charging station, the charging station automatically turns off the headset and a red light appears indicating that charging is taking place. Batteries are fully charged when the red light turns green. When you remove the charged headset, just push the button on the headset to turn on the system.

Is tv volume cut off when using headphones?
I would like to know if my wife can listen to the tv sound as I am wearing the headphones
I am able to listen to TV through the phones and still have sound from the TV speakers. I have my Sennheiser's connect directly to the TV via an optical cable.

These headphones will not work when I use Netflix
I have installed these headphones with an audio digital cable they are great for regular tv, but when I switch my smart tv to Netflix I cannot hear the program with them. Is there a solution?
I have no problem with hearing sound via these headphones while steaming Netflix. Try using the optical connection directly from the headphone's base to the optical port on the TV. You should hear all sounds directly from the TV to the headphones.

how can you hook them up to a boston sound bar
Why would you hook them up to what is, essentially, a speaker? To listen to TV, DVD, etc. hook them to the TV via a optical cable. Your headphones are the speakers.
