I was late seeing this movie, just bought it on UHD and watched for the first time. I think this was an AWESOME movie... Great storyline,.... Seemed to mix the original Superman 1 and 2 together, great aspects of both with today's incredible movie making technology.
Even though this is considered a "fake" 4k disc, it still looks incredible and I totally feel this is worth the UHD cost.
This review relates to the quality of the 4k picture of Amazing Spiderman 2 moreso than the movie itself...
I enjoyed the picture overall but I guess I was expecting slightly better still since this was considered a "true" 4k film..... Great picture still, but it seemed some other "fake" 4k discs I have look even better....
Would still recommend to add to your 4k collection.
To begin with, I am not one of the many people out there that doesn't think 4k makes a difference. I absolutely LOVE the picture quality of 4k even for certain films that were not "true" 4k,... I can tell a difference for the several UHD discs I have purchased so far....
I love the Labyrinth movie, 5 stars for the movie itself.... This review is based on the UHD aspect of this product.
I don't think there was enough improvement in the picture quality to justify purchasing Labyrinth in UHD..... I was skeptical as I purchased Labyrinth on Bluray not long before this and I didn't feel Bluray quality was notably good....
I bought Labyrinth in UHD as many reviewers said the picture was stunning.....
My opinion: I can CERTAINLY see improvement in SOME aspects of the picture quality..... For instance, when Sara is going through the bushy part of the labyrinth... The leaves look crisper than ever before.... In the tunnel the glitter on the walls are more noticeable..... I even noticed more details on the Jareth doll in Sara's room and I'm not sure I even noticed that doll at all before..... However, much of the film is still fuzzy/grainy in appearance.... The faces, characters, etc, still look like an 80s film.... I was likely expecting more than they can physically do.... Again, most reviewers over-hyped the results.
All in all, great movie, but get it in bluray.... not worth UHD unless it was the same price as bluray.

You can tell this HDMI cable is built very well. I am using this with a Phillips 4k Bluray player connected to a (non HDR) 4k tv. When using 4k discs the picture is stunning... It is hard to tell exactly how much difference this cable makes over a basic HDMI cable with the same setup... But I have no complaints over the results I see.... I would recommend this cable if you are using 4k sources and want to be absolutely sure nothing is hindering true 4k quality which was my reason for purchasing this.
I remember seeing The Day After Tomorrow years ago and didn 't like it. I saw the Blu Ray cheap at local Best Buy. I couldn't remember why I didnt like it so I thought I would give it another try. Sad to say it wasnt worth the 5 bucks I spent on it and I want to sell it already. They get right in to earth splitting events without much explanation, the plot/development seems to have been given very little thought. It just doesn't "Grab" my attention like other movies with similar themes. Overall weak movie that you look forward to the end of so you can stop watching it.
