Beautifully photographed with lavish costumes, this fairy tale comes across with European style. Original soundtrack is in French, it is dubbed in English, but I found it more pleasurable to watch in French with the English subtitles. Lea Seydoux is wonderful as Belle and the story stays true to the fairy tale. Directed by Christophe Gans.

The best film version of this timeless classic! Starring Charlton Heston as Long John Silver, Christian Bale in a very early role, and Oliver Reed bring this story it's best screen adaptation ever. DVD color and clarity is excellent.

Excellent movie in an excellent format. The Blu-ray looks great and the film is a classic. James Whitmore and James Arness saving the world from giant ants!
