Supergirl is a great show and my favorites of the DC tv series last year.
The blu ray set itself is very nice with some nice featurettes but a warning.The epsiodes are suffering shuttering during all episodes on each disk.in some BD players.It plays fine on most but in my BD drive in my PC,I have shuttering.It plays fine on my regular BD player.I returned and exhanged for another copy and had the same issue.I'm seeing this shuttering issue being reported as coming up for others in certain players too.So it may be a mastering issue.
This has lowered my score to Fair..I would give it a Excellent if I did not have the shuttering problem.I can't recommend this set due to this issue since others are reporting the same problem.

While The Hobbit trilogy is not as good as the Lord Of The Rings,this conclusion is a good movie and decent end to this trilogy.The Blu Ray for the extended edition is amazing though just as the previous Blu Ray/DVD extended editions were.It has everything you could want to know about the making of this movie.

Bates Motel had a great third season on par with seasons 1 and 2.The major weakness of the blu ray is the limited special features.

Sleepy Hollow season 2 I thought was a strong follow up to season 1.The season was more serialized which I prefer to episodic.Even the episodic episodes tied in with the overall seasonal story.John Noble was a strong big bad as the horsemen of war.The character being Crane's son gave emotional weight.

One of the most fun films of the year

This film was a hoot and one of the most fun films of 2014.While Capatain America:The Winter Soldier was probably a overall stronger story,GOTG was just a lot of laughs.

A very dark gritty Suicide Squad film

Titiled under Batman,this is actually a Suicide Squad Animated film with Batman as a supporting character.A very dark and violent film,this is one of the best animated films produced by The WB.The only weird thing is there is no special feature on the Suicide Squad.

A Statisfying Followup to the first film

300:Rise Of An Empire is the followup to 300 and in a creative turn serves as a prequel and sequel.While the storyline isn't a iconic as the 300 Spartans story,this is still a worthy followup to the first film with a stand out performance from Eva Green.

A Great followup to both Thor And The Avengers

Thor The Dark World is the second film in phase 2 of the MCU and both a sequel to the first Thor and The Avengers.It's a fun ride with a more fantasy feel vs the the sci fi feel of the first film.The main weakness of this film is that the villain Malekith is a little undercooked.Christopher Eccleston does the best he can with the role but the character is overshadowed by Loki who takes a more anti hero role this time.Still,this is a fun time and a worthy film in the MCU.

This is a very insightful documentary about one of the best aspects of comic books,the baddies.Some good discussions on various aspects of what makes the villains of DC comics great.The only down side is the fract that this could of been a special feature on another DC comic related film.

If you love the old Godizila movies where monsters fought monsters then Pacific Rim is a big,very big budget update of Kaiju films you will enjoy.All you really need to know is giant monsters vs giant robots.The film is just a ton of fun.It has a paper thin plot but it doesn't really need much more.The film is just a visual spectacle.Honestly this is a film that needed to be seen in IMAX but since that isn't possible on home media then most definitely go with the 3D Blu Ray release.It was a conversion but one done to the higest levels supervised by director Guillermo del Toro.The 3D looked great on the IMAX screen and looks great on Blu Ray too.
