NOT album pictured. BB will send you LIVE version

Twice I have ordered this album from Best Buy and twice they have sent me the LIVE version. The STUDIO version of this album pictured in this auction is not the one you will recieve. The item number assigned to what is pictured as the studio album is the LIVE album. What does it take to get Best Buy to get their act together on something as simple as this? My disappointment is beyond words that can be expressed here. This was supposed to be a birthday present that Best Buy messed up. TWICE.

Best (Only?) American-Made Guitar for $299

I got my Gibson Melody Maker V from Best Buy on clearance for $299 about three weeks ago. It comes with a lightweight Gibson logo'ed gig bag. The bag has a pocket to fit a tuner, strap and strings, but not large enough to hold sheet music.
It has a thick vintage feeling C shaped neck that seemed rather large at first, but was surprisingly playable. The intonation was perfect upon arrival, so no need for a setup. One one-pickup, top-mounted, no-tone control configuration for the pickup has limitations, but I find the pickup to clean up real nice at low volume and get crunchy at higher settings. It works well as designed.
I bought it so my young child would have a decent first guitar, but I find myself playing with it a lot and practicing on it, due to its extremely comfortable profile and ease of holding it while sitting. I did not buy this guitar for myself, but I may end up keeping it or getting another for the kid.
As a guitar player of 25 years, I find this guitar is easily capable of tackling any task you throw at it. Oddly enough, I also find it more enjoyable to play than the Gibson Std V. Maybe it is the amazingly low price that makes me love this guitar. But I sure am having fun with it right now. This is the best guitar that $300 can buy. Plus, if I were ever to sell it, it would easily get the $300 I spent on it. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Gibson Melody Maker Flying V Guitar to anyone.
My Best Buy number: 78369610
What's great about it: Price, Playability, Comfort
What's not so great: Low grade finish
I would recommend this to a friend!

If I was trying to teach myself to play the guitar how would you recommend I do so and with what tools? i.e. internet, books, etc

YouTube is an endless resource for learning all levels of guitars and pretty much any song you can think of playing. Plus, YouTube is FREE. Also, Rocksmith 2014 is a blast if you are a gamer. You will need an electric guitar first though to play Rocksmith.
