I cannot say enough about this purchase. While the $399 price may seem a little high, the sound quality is far superior to anything else I have heard in this product market. I have it hooked up via bluetooth to my iMac and play my iTunes through the speaker on the other side of the room. It was super easy to set up. I have also used the 3.5 mm jack for connecting to my iPod classic which sounded great too. I am usually not a big fan of the retro look, but I really like the look and layout of the speaker.
I have listened to many different genres rock, classic, folk, hard rock, R&B, gospel, etc. and they all sound excellent. For the record I have over 10,000 songs on my iTunes. I would say the sound is as good as a pair of stereo bookshelf speakers easily. There is power to feel the deep bass in songs like Adele's Rolling in the Deep, Rihanna's Diamonds, Pitbull's Timber or Ozzie Osbourne's Mama, I'm Coming Home. Classic rock from bands like of AC/DC (Thunderstruck), Journey (Don't Stop Believing or Escape), The Stones (Gimme Shelter), and The Who (Baba O'Reilly) all sound great. Individual artists sound awesome as well...Springsteen, Brandi Carlie, Elvis, Eddie Vedder (Lost in the Wild soundtrack), etc. Anything acoustic sounds like the artist is right in the room...try Everything but the Girl's version Downtown Train. Classical music, opera, and instrumental all sound great as well. This powerful speaker will easily fill a good sized room with a full range of sound.
Most importantly, I would also say my music listening has increased since buying this speaker because it is such an enjoyable experience.

We got this remote for my parents. They purchased a VIZIO television and the remote was the size of a blackberry. This is much easier to use and works well.

I switched from using a sensor with my iPod to this watch about a year ago. I have been very happy with the watch. Distance cannot be calibrated, so sometimes when I am running indoors it is reading the distance a little longer than it should (or I am getting slower). I like connecting it to the Nike site to track my workouts. It is easy to see and use.

I have a Samsung 46" Smart TV on a media table with the Insignia sound bar mounted on the wall behind it. It was very easy to set up and has great sound. It is extremely powerful and I would not see any reason to spend more money. The "news' setting is good for when it is hard to hear announcers at calling a football game due to the crowd noise.

Muppet movies are perennial family favorites, and there is the usual large helping of good-natured fun in Tim Hill's Muppets From Space. Columbia TriStar has taken full advantage of the DVD medium with this disc, which has a great deal to recommend it. The anamorphic transfer of the film is as good as one could wish for, with the colorful visuals expected from a Muppet movie rendered gloriously. The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track is also of high quality, and all the music and dialogue is crisp and clear. The bonus materials on the disc include both the original theatrical trailer and the teaser trailer, in addition to trailers for some other family films. Also included are some brief talent profiles, an enjoyable music video ("Shining Star" by the Dust Brothers featuring Jeymes), and an amusing selection of outtakes. By far the best extra feature is a live video commentary (similar in style to the feature on the Ghostbusters DVD) with director Hill and Gonzo, Rizzo and, briefly, Kermit. Though it offers absolutely no insight whatsoever, it is one of the funniest commentaries ever made for DVD, and in many ways the equal of the film itself in terms of sheer entertainment. In fact Columbia TriStar's disc is a triumph in every respect, and is probably essential for any fan of the Muppets.

Type of connections
I own a 42" Dynex LCD TV (which I got at Best Buy and I highly recommend it) and all of the RCA connections are being used by my cable company... I have my desktop hooked up to the TV and use it as a monitor and a TV. I am wondering if this will work well with hooking it up using the headphone jack?
I am not sure, but I connected my Samsung Smart TV to the sound bar with the mini audio jack and it works great.

Is it blu ray?
I do have a blu-ray player and the sound bar works very well with it.
