So slow......Seizes up and so slow...I don't have the patience to go that slow. If you are not in a hurry, it will do just fine. It works and it was reasonably priced so no surprises here. Just be prepared for slow.

I,ll be going to Florida from new York. I will actually have to charge it every 2 hours even if its plugged int the cars power source?
No. As long as it is plugged into the car outlet, it will remain charged. But don't leave it plugged in when not driving. Could drain your car battery.

Does car charging my gps device drain my car battery. Leaving for trip and dont want to run into any car troubles as i am traveling alone.
As long as the engine is running, you won't have any problems. Just unplug it when you stop.
