This a CD for grown folks that still have a little youngness (if that's even a word) to them. Uncle Charlie mixes old school and new school and it appeals to everybody. I'm glad he is back! If you like his last solo CD, you will really like this one.
What's great about it: Throwback beats to the GAP Band days
Who would think that goofy Wayne Brady had chops??? It is amazing! Why hasn't this CD been marketed better? Had I not heard the TJMS morning show talking about it I would not have known about it. His voice is amazing, the lyrics are tight and his cover of All I Do is great. Love, love, love it.
What's great about it: Mature music for the grown and sexy
I don't know, but this one did nothing for me. There were maybe 3 songs I liked on the whole CD. Who can't relate to Teenage Love Affair? No One is the best and Like You'll Never See Me Again is touching. The rest of it is just mediocre for me. At times it sounded like she was straining to get out a note. It doesn't hold up to the first one. I'll have to listen to it many more times in hopes I can find a gem on there.
Who needs Lauryn Hill to come back now? I just hope Jazmine doesn't flip her wig too, she is the truth to be so young. He voice sounds like she has lived every lyric she sings. I hope she is around for the long-haul.
This album really showcases Jennifer's versatlity across music genres. Her range and depth are phenomenal! Now she is truly an all around entertainer, singer, actress. Can't wait for the next one
This is quite possibly the worst CD ever made. He goes between yelling, hollering, whispering and trying to rap. Then the Oompa Loompa chorus in the background is ridiculous. His attempts to be deep just result in overwrought lyrics. Those who can sing, those who don't should stay in their lane. Terrance needs to stick to acting, or at the least, musically stick to instrumental offerings.
